Description:
Must be able to stand on your feet for the majority of the day and work in hot conditions, as well as crawl under lines and climb ladders.
Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to work weekends as necessary.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
No travel.
Mechanic:
3 years (Required).
Responsibilities:
The hours are:
7pm-1am or 1am-7am on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and then Thursday and Friday or Saturday Sunday 12hr shift - 7pm - 7am.
Weekends required (alternating shift, switches each week).
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with high-speed production line equipment (e.
g.
, mechanical drive systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors).
Working with Electrical staff, troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with packaging/processing equipment such as wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, motors and drives.
Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks safely, cost effectively and on time.
Support food safety, quality and continuous improvement activities.
Request the design/fabrication of replacement parts or equipment as needed.
Take lead to consult with internal resources to resolve issues and make improvements to equipment.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area ensuring work space and storage areas are free from debris and clutter.
