5K - $55K a year 10 days ago 10 days ago 10 days ago Suncast Corporation is seeking an Administrative Sales Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in and administrative support, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
The Sales Assistant is responsible for a variety of functions with the sales department and will also work alongside the and marketing department when required.
This is an ON-SITE role.
Responsibilities:
Sales Assistant for the Suncast Sales Team reporting into the Vice President of Sales.
Will coordinate all key documentation, sell sheets, order tracking, and general follow up.
This will require working with multiple departments throughout Suncast.
Coordinate and handle all image and sample requests for salesman and key customers.
Create new item set-up sheets (data entry) including all spec and image creation.
Assist in compiling sell sheets into presentations for key customer meetings.
Stay informed and keep track of all sales calendars with specific customer meetings.
Audit and monitor key customer websites to ensure product information is accurate and up to date.
This position requires strong leadership skills, tact, and powers of persuasion.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline strongly preferred Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
Ability to write memos and run company reports.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
He or she must be capable of leading discussions with the internal Sales and Marketing Teams He or she must be capable of responding to challenges concerning the product or company in a positive and persuasive manner.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Intermediate skills with a Windows Suite of Products.
Ability to use appropriate formats for memos, reports and letters.
Ability to create a new spreadsheet and use functions such as complex formulas and graphing.
Ability to create and update PowerPoint presentations.
Ability to learn to establish and maintain a database.
While performing these duties, the employee will divide time between working at Suncast and traveling to and visiting with potential customers.
While at Suncast, the employee will spend most of his or her time in an office environment.
However, Suncast is a manufacturer, and it will be necessary to enter the manufacturing area to complete some tasks or to enter some office areas.
Typically, offices are climate controlled and have a moderate noise level for an office.
Manufacturing areas are subject to seasonal variations in temperature and humidity.
Noise level is generally moderate for manufacturing.
Safety equipment is required when in manufacturing areas.
While traveling, the employee will be exposed to weather conditions of the assigned geographic area.
