- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies - Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service - Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop - Follow food safety guidelines when handling and preparing food items - Assist with food preparation, such as sandwiches or pastries, as needed - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of time management to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner - Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Basic understanding of retail math for cash handling purposes - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food service industry - Sales skills to upsell products and promote specials Join our team as a Barista and be part of a dynamic coffee shop environment.
