o Genuinely thanks each customer and invites them back.
o Assists customers by:
(examples include) o escorting them to the products they're looking for o securing products that are out of reach o loading or unloading heavy items o making note of and passing along customer suggestions or requests o performing other tasks in every way possible to enhance the customers shopping experience.
o Places merchandise in bags and cart in a neat, organized fashion.
o Provide carry-out services to customers when appropriate, placing orders in vehicle using proper stacking techniques.
o Retrieves grocery carts from the parking lot.
o Retrieves cases of bags from bag storage areas to maintain proper supply at each register.
o Returns damaged products to proper department or receiving area.
o Returns milk crates with empty bottles to Dairy department.
o Eliminates spills and maintains clean floors and surfaces of the store in accordance with company safety and sanitation policies.
o Maintains premises, including shoveling snow, salting walkways, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining landscaping as directed.
o Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
o Understands and practices proper sanitation procedures and ensures the janitorial area is always clean, neat and organized according to 5S standards.
o Removes trash in a timely manner.
o Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
o Adheres to all company policies, procedures, Safety and Sanitation regulations, and individual store guidelines.
