Job Description:
As a Technician specializing in Injection Molding, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processesYou will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting injection molding equipment to produce high-quality polymer productsThis role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality
Responsibilities:
Setup and Operation:
Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce polymer products according to specifications and production schedules.Process Monitoring:
Monitor injection molding processes, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to ensure optimal performance and product quality.Tooling Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on injection molding tooling, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of worn components.Quality Control:
Conduct inspections of molded parts to verify conformance to quality standards and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.Troubleshooting:
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to injection molding equipment, processes, and products, and implement corrective actions as needed.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, process parameters, and quality inspection results.Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in injection molding within the polymer industry.Proficiency in setting up and operating injection molding machines, including knowledge of various machine controls and settings.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues.Knowledge of polymer materials, molding techniques, and quality control standards.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
