Robert Half is looking for a Senior Cost Accountant for a client located in the west suburbs. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for costing and purchasing duties, analysis of manufacturing costs, estimating, budget preparation, purchasing, and audit analysis. The Cost Accountant will also be responsible for backing up the Controller when necessary. The Cost Accountant will also work closely with the Sales Team. A successful Cost Accountant will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, 5-8 years recent accounting and manufacturing related experience, advanced Excel skills, and previous ERP experience. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
